How Our Modular SEO Investment Works

Most agencies in Dubai still sell SEO the same way they sold it in 2015: one opaque monthly fee, a slide deck full of "we optimized meta tags," and no way to tell what actually moved the needle. When Fatima, the marketing lead of a Business Bay logistics firm, first called us, she had been paying 4,500 AED a month to an agency for eight months and could not name a single keyword that had improved. That is the problem our modular SEO model was built to solve.

Why we rebuilt SEO pricing from scratch

When we opened germanwebsites.com in Dubai, we ran a small experiment. We asked twelve business owners a single question: "What did your last SEO agency actually do last month?" Eleven of them could not answer. The twelfth pulled up a PDF that said "content optimization performed" — with no page, no keyword, no metric.

That is not a service. That is a subscription to a black box.

So we designed a pricing model with three rules:

    1. Every deliverable has a name and a price. If you cannot point at a line item on the /packages page, we do not charge for it.

    2. One-time work is charged once. You do not pay a monthly retainer for a technical fix that took a week.

    3. Ongoing work is charged monthly, transparently. Content, rank tracking, link building — the things that genuinely compound — are the only things that belong on a retainer.

    The modules, in plain language

Our web and SEO work is broken into fixed-price modules. You can buy any of them independently or combine them.

The foundation: a website that can actually rank

    Base website — 8,000 AED (one-time, 4 pages)

Custom design, mobile-first, semantic HTML, on-page SEO structure, GA4 with event tracking, sitemap, robots.txt, LocalBusiness schema, security headers. This is the minimum a site needs to be indexable and measurable. Additional pages are 500 AED each.

Most SEO agencies inherit whatever site the client already has — often a WordPress build that loads in six seconds and has no schema. Then they spend the first four months of the retainer fixing what should have been a one-week engineering job. We split those apart on purpose.

    The one-time SEO overhaul

    SEO Pro — 4,000 AED (one-time)

Full technical audit, keyword research with search intent mapping, on-page rewrite of your priority pages, internal linking architecture, schema markup expansion, Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster setup, first submission to Search Console, and a written report of everything that was done.

This is what most agencies bill as "months 1–3 of the retainer." We do it once, hand you the report, and stop charging for it.

    The genuinely ongoing work

For clients who need continuous content, link building, or rank monitoring, we offer a custom monthly retainer — scoped in writing before you sign. Every retainer includes a live rank-tracking dashboard, a monthly technical audit, a defined number of new content pieces, backlink work, Google Business Profile management, a monthly strategy call, and a report that shows *what was done, why, and what changed*. No template PDFs.

If your business does not need ongoing content, you do not need a retainer. Buy the base site, buy SEO Pro, and check back in six months. That is a real option we offer — and roughly a third of our clients take it.

What Fatima's numbers actually looked like

Back to the Business Bay logistics firm. Here is what she was paying, and what she moved to:

    Before (previous agency):

  1. Monthly retainer: 4,500 AED
  2. 8 months elapsed: 36,000 AED spent
  3. Ranked keywords in top 10: 3 (all branded)
  4. Non-branded organic leads/month: 1–2

  5. After (germanwebsites.com, first 6 months):

  6. Base website rebuild (she needed one): 8,000 AED one-time
  7. SEO Pro overhaul: 4,000 AED one-time
  8. 6 months of custom retainer for content + link building: 18,000 AED
  9. Total 6-month spend: 30,000 AED
  10. Ranked keywords in top 10: 22 (17 non-branded)
  11. Non-branded organic leads/month: 11–14

  12. She spent 6,000 AED *less* in the first six months than she had in the previous eight — and knew, at any moment, exactly what she was paying for. That is the whole thesis.

Why this alignment works for both sides

There is a reason the "one big monthly fee" model persists: it is more profitable for the agency and less accountable. We chose the opposite trade-off deliberately.

    For you as the client:

  13. Predictable, itemized spend. No surprise invoices.
  14. You can stop the retainer anytime without losing what you paid for — the SEO Pro overhaul is *your* asset, permanently.
  15. You can compare our modules line-by-line to any competitor. Nobody else in Dubai publishes prices at this granularity.

  16. For us as the agency:

  17. We win clients on trust, not on obscurity. That filters out the wrong kind of client — the ones who want to argue every invoice — and keeps the ones who want a partner.
  18. We are forced to be efficient. If SEO Pro is priced at 4,000 AED and takes us 60 hours, we have to be sharp about our process. Documented playbooks, TypeScript-based audit scripts, a real component library on the dev side. That discipline is where "German engineering" actually shows up.

  19. What this is not

To be honest about the trade-offs:

  20. This is not the cheapest option in Dubai. Freelancers on Fiverr will build you a website for 800 AED and "do SEO" for 300 AED/month. If price is your only criterion, we are not the right fit — and we will tell you that on the first call.
  21. This is not a guarantee of first-page rankings in 30 days. Anybody who promises that is either lying or planning to game the metrics. Real SEO in a competitive market like Dubai is a 3–9 month game.
  22. This is not "set and forget." The base package gets your site indexable. Ranking against 40 other Dubai real-estate agencies for "property management Dubai Marina" requires ongoing work. We are honest about which of our modules you actually need for your goals — and we will decline work that we do not think will pay back for you.

  23. How to start, without committing to a retainer

The lowest-risk way to see if we are the right agency is to book a 30-minute discovery call. We will:

    1. Look at your current site's Core Web Vitals, indexation, and schema live on the call.

    2. Show you what your top three competitors are ranking for that you are not.

    3. Tell you *exactly* which of our modules would move the needle for your situation — and which would not.

If, at the end of that call, we cannot articulate a specific, measurable outcome for a specific price, do not hire us. That is our filter, and it is yours too.

Full transparent pricing is on the /packages page. If you would rather talk than read a price list, contact us directly.
